Gameplay Notes
This version of the game contains three levels, each with ten waves of enemies. A small bonus is awarded for destroying all enemies in a wave; at the end of a level, larger bonuses may be awarded for exceptional destruction or accuracy percentages. At the end of the last level, a final bonus is awarded for each remaining extra life you have.
The Rapid Fire and Multi Shot powerups have multiple levels, and are time-based: After a certain amount of time, they degrade to the next level down, or disappear if they are already at the lowest level. Picking up a Rapid Fire or Multi Shot powerup refreshes the timer for that powerup, even if it is already at the maximum level. All Rapid Fire and Multi Shot powerups are removed at the end of each game level. The Shields Up powerup is unaffected by any of these restrictions, and will stay with you indefinitely (until you are hit, that is).
